Sayyeshaa Saigal shoots in Vietnam with Vanamagan ‘Jayam’ Ravi

That 19 year old stun looking Sayyeshaa Saigal, the Mumbai born grand niece of the legendary Bollywood couple Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu is debuting in Tamil films as heroine opposite ‘Jayam’ Ravi in his upcoming film “Vanamagan” directed by Vijay might be old news. The latest update is that the film’s crew has just wrapped up an arduous and taxing shooting schedule in Vietnam

With a film each in Telugu (Akhil) and Hindi (Shivaay) to her credit, Vanamagan would only be the third film of Sayyeshaa Saigal in as many languages. Directed by Vijay who split last year from his actress wife Amala Paul, Vanamagan crew landed up in Vietnam more than a fortnight back apparently unaware of the climatic conditions prevailing in the country at this period of time

Sayyeshaa Saigal reveals that the cold climate prevailing in Vietnam took them by huge surprise as they never expected the weather to be as chilly. “We travelled a lot each day to reach the shooting spots and it was nothing short of a breathtaking experience to have shot in Vietnam” smiles Sayyeshaa Saigal

“I bonded big time with each and every member of the crew as we used to have a common dinner during our shooting spell in Thailand” she says and gives a piece of information that Vanamagan was the first ever Indian film to have been shot in Vietnam

Harris Jayaraj scores the music of the film which has national award winning actor Thambi Ramaiah and Varun in prominent roles
