Suzuki India Confirm Gixxer Launch On 9th September, 2014
The Indian motorcycle industry is growing at a rapid pace and the buyers are receiving maximum benefit as the options have increased along with the quality. Suzuki had earlier this year showcased two new products a scooter and motorcycle.
Suzuki Motorcycles India Limited has launched the Let's scooter and have now confirmed to launch its Gixxer on 9th of September, 2014. The motorcycle was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo held in Delhi.
The Japanese automobile manufacturer has launched several new products in India. They are betting high on their Gixxer to compete with the competition. Suzuki with the launch of its Gixxer will have a model in every segment for Indian market.
Suzuki has begun accepting bookings of its new motorcycle and have also revealed pricing on its site. The Gixxer is priced at INR 84,383 On-Road, Mumbai and will be available in five distinct colours. They will offer Metallic Oort Grey, Metallic Triton Grey, Candy Antares red, Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Mirage white.
Suzuki Gixxer will sport a 154.9 cc air-cooled, SOHC engine. It has been tuned to produce 14 Nm of peak torque, along with 14.59 horsepower. The motorcycle will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and surprisingly does not sport fuel injection.
The Gixxer will be launched on 9th September and will compete againstYamaha's FZ version 2.0 range, Honda CB Trigger and Hero CBZ Xtreme. The motorcycle has distinct styling and muscular lines and is unique looking compared to its competition.
