After Suchitra, Malayalam actor Madonna Sebastian’s Facebook account hacked
After the much-talked-about Twitter hacking incident of Tamil RJ and singer Suchitra, another actor Madonna Sebastian of Premam fame has written on Facebook that her account has been breached.
Madonna Sebastian made her debut in Malayalam film, Premam, in 2015.
The social media has suddenly turned into a nightmare for celebs from south cinema. After the much-talked-about Twitter hacking incident of Tamil RJ and singer Suchitra, comes the news of another actor whose account has been breached.
Popular actor Madonna Sebastian, who made her debut in 2015’s hit film Premam and routinely features in Malayalam and Tamil films, wrote on her Facebook account stating that her posts on Facebook and Twitter were not put by her. Explaining her position, she wrote on Facebook: Hello there.. looks like my page is hacked. So please ignore the posts till I confirm otherwise. Thank you. P.S. the twitter posts that appear on my behalf are also not mine.
The sensational Suchileaks have taken the southern film industries by storm. On March 3, Suchitra posted some private party pictures of well known Tamil celebs such as Dhanush, Hansika Motwani, Anirudh Ravichander, Andrea Jeremiah and Dhivyadharshini. The pictures were then hastily removed from Twitter and the account made private.
Later, in the night the singer again took to Twitter and wrote that her account had been hacked. Several new allegations were made from the account late on March 4. In a series of tweets, Suchitra posted pictures that were allegedly taken from Dhanush’s phone then challenged Dhanush, Anirudh and Chinmayi to “deny this cheap act”. The account also shared a pornographic video followed by a tweet asking people to download the video before it is deleted. The account later switched to “protected” mode on Saturday morning.
Reacting to the buzz around her tweets, Suchitra’s husband Karthik, who is also a Chennai-based stand-up comic, had issued a video where he explained the entire situation. In Suchitra’s defence, he said, “All the people mentioned in the tweets have been patient enough to understand that this could happen to anyone and to not take it personally. I really value all of that. There is nothing personal in all of this and it is more indictative of whatever condition she is going through.”
As on Wednesday, reports suggested that the disturbed singer might be going to London for rehabilitation.
